A Poem That Doesn't Rhyme

As the silence of the night
Falls on my ears, I wonder -
Has life always been like this?

There's so much to do...
So many rules to follow,
So many responsibilities to fulfill,
So many issues to worry about,
So many things to ponder over,
In so little time!

So, I decided to let myself go
And write a poem that doesn't rhyme,
Simply for the heck of it.

And I did.
